Planning a short,memorable euro trip?

Hi there. I’m from South Africa and planning to visit my bro in the UK for just over 2 weeks.(From 16 Dec until early Jan).

I would like to know if anyone has a suggestion as to places I can visit in Europe. 1 of my choices is Amsterdam but I don’t want to stay there for 2 weeks. I also do not want to go to too many places as this will not be realistic in 2 weeks. I do however would like to spend about 3/4 days max and also stay in affordable central accommodation, so that i can experience as much as possible.
I would value any opinions and suggestions. Or a basic itiniry if you did something similar.

if you go in europe you must go to rome!!!…other very interesting cities that I visited are paris…barcellona…berlin…dublin….venice…. but I think that rome is the best…amsterdam is a beautiful city above all if you like paintings…
you can do this itinerary
-uk 5 days
-dublin 2 days
-barcellona/berlin 2 days
-venice 2 days
-rome 3 days
