Can anyone recommend the best & cheapest apartment or youth hostel in Barcelona?

I would want to stay around Las Ramblas, so the apartment/hostel must be around there. Any names you guys can recommend? I'm looking for around 60euros for 5 nights. I'm a student, so don't have that much to spend on a room I'll rarely be in, right?

That price is not possible. AT MINIMUM you’ll need EUR 16 per night for a basic room in a cheap hostel, but in all honestly you’ll be hard-pressed to find a hostel for less than EUR 20 per night. I have stayed at the hostel below, and it’s either EUR 16 or EUR 21 per night, depending on the season. It’s about a six-minute walk from Las Ramblas through a predominantly ethnic neighbourhood, but it’s very popular and the people who stay there tend to be on the well-behaved side.
