How to get from Barcelona Airport to Cap Salou – the cheapest option?

barcelona apartments

I am flying into Barcelona Airport and have booked accommodation in Cap Salou (Festival Village) - landing on the 05th May @ 11.20am.

I am aware that there is a bus and train service although I am having trouble understanding the information on the websites and would really appreciate some guidance - such as where to get train or bus from and to and then how to get to apartment etc...

I know this is a long shot!

If anyone can help me out with this I would be extremely grateful!!!

Thanks

  1. Taxi into the city and then the bus to Salou, I know there is definitely one that goes right through Cap Salou, I was there last September and we visited the Nou Camp, a lot of people have very decent English and should be able to help you with the bus time-tables.

  2. dont take a taxi too expensive. local buses (approx cost 2.60 euros )take you from the airport (outside terminal 2) right into Barcelona and if and if you get the bus to Sants (train station you will get you connection there for cap salou) happy traveling

  3. From the airport get the train to SANTS station in Barcelona then from there you can get a train or Bus to Salou ( bus is cheapest) about 2 hours
