Hello!

The last time my friends came to visit me in Barcelona they stayed in a very nice apartments. They are located in the center just 5 minuts walking from Plaza Cataluña (main square) and you have the tube opposite the apartments. There are fully equipped and they really had a great time there! The price was really good too and you didn’t have to book the whole week, as in many places.

I can suggest you a good site to find, where you can adjust the budget and the places where you want to be near. I suggest the Olimpic Seaport where all nigths clubs are, or also some hotel into the Gothic Quarter which is the most amazing zone all over the city.

a “hostel” may be what you need. it is like a dormitory, but a shared room with maybe 8 people. if you’re not married, it is no big deal. but there is no privacy if you are. i assume these exist in spain as they do in other parts of europe, but i’ve never been to spain.
