where’s all the new construction in northern kentucky?

florence apartment
my wife and i are moving from lexington to erlanger/florence area in august, and want a townhouse or rental house, 2+br with a garage. Pretty much everything is either really nice (aka expensive) or fairly old. we really don't want an apartment, since we've got quite a bit of "stuff" to store. we'd also like to buy a house in probably 6 months/1 year, and would prefer new or gently used houses. where are the 2-3 bedroom starter-home neighborhoods in northern kentucky?

Trying to find a cheap(er) apartment in Italy – help?

florence apartment
I am moving to Italy (Florence) for 6 months in March. I would like to find an apartment that has a small kitchen area and a small terraced balcony or at least a large shuttered window. It should be in the city centre and furnished. I don't mind if it is just a studio. I do not want to share with anyone or have roommates. I am wondering if anyone knows good websites to look on or if anyone knows of any apartments that are long-term rentals. The other important thing is that the price comes within my budget which is, unfortunately, a low 650EUR a month. Help!! Also, I live in the US and really don't want to run into a scam so it has to be a safe way of transferring money for the initial deposit - some way to know that the person renting will be paid and I that I, the renter, will have a place to stay upon arriving. Any advice is welcome and very much appreciated. Thanks!!

is it normal for a mother to be sleeping in the same bed as her 18 year old daughter?

florence apartment

I recently arrived in Florence. I'm renting out a single room in an apartment shared with a mother and her daughter. The daughter is 18 years old and about to start University. My concern is that she shares a bed with her divorced mother. Their relationship is normal and they obviously look out for each other. I'm sort of freaked out. I know this is not normal. Should I be affected by this, or just mind my own business.
