I am going to London for 2 weeks, where can I find apartments for rent?
It's the first time for me to visit London but it's too expensive in stay in hotels, even B& B can cost quite a lot. Any advice? Will it cost less if I just rent an apartment for 2 weeks?

I stayed in a great little place above a cafe at £12 a night just a couple of years ago. And in the morning you got free cooked breakfast included in the price in the cafe below. Plus you had your own key to your own room… so come and go as you wanted. Also room had good decor, wardbrobes, tv, and was warm with radiator and generally really nice. Added to which is was on a quiet side road (not off a busy road with loads of passing night time traffic)
Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the place… it was in Kentish Town about 3 minutes walk from the tube station… next to Camden Town… just a short tube journey from city center proper.
I found it in whilst checking the London LOOT which seemed to have loads of value accomodation available. Try and get someone to send you London edition LOOT if you want to source something cheap but cheerful. Ofc you may have a bigger budget for an “apartment” than I did at the time… and yes… maybe a 2 week apartment (depending on area) may cost even less and be better.

I f your gonna rent it would probably cost you more. A b&b will cost about £30-£50.

Hmm im not sure if it will cost you less but i found that when i went to London for two weeks that our hotel room turned out not to be that expensive when we considered that it came with a free breakfast every morning and was a two min walk to the tube.
Id suggest looking on the visitbritain website…its generally pretty helpful

Sometimes you can find serviced apartments in London, but i think they will be just as expensive. London is an expensive City.
also if you find a really cheap place, it’s likely to cost a fortune in transport and waste your valuable holiday time getting from A to B.
My best advice is to look at the VisitLondon official website and work out what you want to see, where you want to be and match up good accommodation rates with it.
I’ve given you links to both. Just sort the prices, locations nd star ratings, then look at the related deals which someimes include amenities and breakfasts for last minute offerings.
Good luck with you planning

try gumtree.com – you can find short term rentals there. People will let their flats or rooms in flat shares for really good prices.
