Renting a flat/apartment in London, England?

london apartment rent
I want to rent a flat/apartment in London. Any advice on how to do it? Whats a good price? Where should I look? I'm going to be there long term (ie 1-3 years) for work. I'm hoping to move in Jan of next year but I wanted to get an idea of what I'm looking at to do this kind of thing. I'm having a problem understanding the difference in the adds between a per week and a monthly option. I'm young and outgoing and generally like living in quiet neighborhoods that I can walk around at night and not think I'm going to get hurt.

  2. You can look on Ludlow thompson, there are really nice areas in South london which are easy to get to and from Central london, such as Vauxhall, Kennington, Stockwell isnt bad, like every area in london you have good and bad parts, i mean stockwell cant be that bad if Joanna Lumley lives there? Jack Straw lives in Oval! GOk Wan & Gareth Gates live in Vauxhall!

you could get a place for £180-250 a week in and Around central london, it all depends on how many bedrooms? where your going to work? etc

    hope this helps

  3. Hey ! What’s wrong with Ilford ? I live there and it is fine – Cheap, and easy access to the great facilities of the city.

If you already have employment arranged, check with your prospective employer if they can help you. Coming here without a job or somewhere to live will be difficult.
