What is the cheapest city in Europe?
I am planning a summerlong vacation with a couple friends and we are going to rent a flat for sure. We have decided upon Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, and Greece as places that we want to see (some cities we want to visit are: nice, paris, marseilles, madrid, amsterdam, milan, rome, athens, barcelona, valencia, venice, naples).
it preferably needs to be in a central location and in a city with a reasonable cost of living (for european standards). Im asking for cities that are cheap to live in basically, and any other helpful advice.

well the cities you said are very expensive… And there are some cities that don’t have nothing interesting. Like Naples (Why don’t other italian places like Florence, Turin, Bologna, ???) and also near marseilles and nice you should go to Cannes, or Monaco, or St. Tropez (but this region of south France is very expensive!! probably the most expensive in west europe.
The cities I recommend to you are Porto (in Portugal, lovely beaches, culture, monuments, nightlife, landscapes,… and it is a cheap county), also Spain… Are the cheapest places in “Modern Europe”
