i live Prague. How do i go about getting a visa to stay here long term?

i moved to be with my gf. we have a place but we dont pay rent. i have a job but no contract. how can i get around these problems. she is czech and i am american. she is also pregnant with my child and we are planning to get married next summer. i hope someone has some help becauase i surely dont want to leave her hear in this situation.

You don’t say what kind of visa/permit you are on now and your status (legal/illegal) and both of these will make an impact.

However if you are legally in Czech now then I would advise you to contact the Czech embassy in the US or the immigration service or foreign office dept in Czech to get the official advice. Although part of the EU, like other countries there is not a 100% uniform process and this will vary from country to county
