Any ideas for accommodation in Prague?

I'm going to Prague in Feb (yes cold i know!!) with my boyfriend and we're looking for cheap accommodation. Preferably in the Old Town or somewhere close to Wenceslas square. Basically somewhere where we can walk to the centre. Don't mind if its a hotel or apartment just as long as it's not a hostel! Pricewise i was hoping for between £30 and £45 at most per night. (roughly 45 euro to 65 euro) We're going for 4 nights. I really need help. There's soooo many to choose from but would like to hear from people who've been b4 so i know the accommodation is clean!! Tried a few travel agents but think they're too dear. Any ideas anybody?

Where to find cheap accomodation in Italy?

I am going to Italy from Sep 22nd to Sep 30th (2009). I plan to go to Rome (4 days), Venice (2 days) and Florence (2 days). I will be accompanied by my wife. We are looking to find a private accomodation (hostel, guesthouse, hotel, apartment) with easy access to the main attractions. Can anyone help us out with it? Our budget is $75/ night.

Is Amsterdam a drughole?

Okay I was their last year a week before the Queens day so that was April it was my first time in Amsterdam and the only place I have been to in Holland, now I stayed at this hostel it was only 20 euros a night and I made no reservations in advance prior to my trip to Amsterdam so I decided to stay their for 3 nights. Now the room was fairly large and had 16 bunk beds and I was the second person to occupie a bed, then the other one was this Hungarian guy and then shortly after I arrived this italian guy arrived so their were 3 of us in that large dorm. So to make a long storie short I don't use drugs just drink beer, now once that Italian guy settled in the first thing he did was light up I think it was hash I was like dam already then from my third day when I was ready to leave I notice that the Hungarian guy never showered I thought it was disgusting. Now I am from the Los Angeles, CA but my mother always tought us kids to to showers daily. My whole point of this is I thought people in the usa had problems drugs exc but now I see people have drug problems all over this world

Cheap hostels in a good location in Milan.PLEASE Help?

Hi guys,

My boyfriend and I are going to a few cities in Italy and really are stuck for where to stay in each. I've been searching all day and I can't seem to find a clean and safe hostel in a good location for our budget. I've been told, it's easy to find cheap deals as low as €15/per person but that's not happening. Any advice on where to stay? Also any ideas on whether it's more worth it to go for a hostel or an apartment for a week long stay? Is there room to bargain once there for the best price since it's low season?

me and my friends are going to Barcelona?

8 of us, aged 16-17 are going to barcelona in the summer, we need a hotel, (not an apartment, not a hostel) and don't want to spend too much money, preferably we would like to be near the beach and areas with nightlife

does anyone have any suggestions / previous experience?
