Venice Italy (Wolf in an apartment.)?
he and I will be out all day but I was speaking of night time when we go to sleep. That is when he will be in the apartment with me.
So the wolf will only be in my apartment at night.

Sorry, wolves are not meant to be pets in an apartment.

If this isn’t a seeing-eye wolf, you going to have to haul it around on the Vaporetti in pet carrier. Of course you have to pay extra for the luggage.
This is exactly the kind of life I think of when I think of living in Venice; hauling a big animal in a box on boats and narrow pathways.

No problem – I have seen Great Danes in little apartments and they are bigger than your wolf. I don’t think it is kind on the animal though. A better idea would be to live somewhere a little outside of Venice with a garden so you can let your wolf run free.

Check with the Veterinarian at your local international air port for travel information to Italy. You will also need to ask if the breed (wolf) is allowed to be taken into Italy. If you can take the wolf to Italy then you’d have to muzzle it on the vaporetto and probably when you are in crowds around the city.
As for keep a pet in your apartment in Venice that is not a problem at all. As already mentioned there are people in Venice who keep dogs the size of horses in their homes.
